Golden Beach Dental Practice has been operating in the Caloundra area for more than 25 years. Prior to 2012, we were known as Robert Muir Dental Practice, with Robert still at our surgery today.

Our aim is to provide a progressive, complete oral health service. At our Park Place surgery, we can address all your general, preventative and cosmetic dentistry enquiries, including restorative work with dentures or implants. We offer intraoral scanning-Carestream 3600 intraoral scanner.

We are preferred providers for BUPA, Medibank and Westfund, as well as registered with all other funds. To make a booking, please contact our friendly front-office team today. For dental emergencies out of office trading, please call our after-hours number.

A. There are quite a few causes for tooth sensitivity, including worn-down enamel and plaque build-up. If sensitive teeth are bothering you, please make an appointment to see our dentists.

A. You should replace your toothbrush every 3 to 4 months. It is recommended you also change your toothbrush after illness or if the bristles become frayed.

A. Flossing daily helps to remove plaque and small food particles that get lodged between your teeth. By flossing, you help to maintain good oral hygiene and prevent decay and gum disease.

A. It is recommended that you visit the dentist at least twice a year to stay on top of oral health maintenance.

A. Also known as the third molar, wisdom teeth can cause pain as they begin to erupt. There is also the risk of infection, as well as impaction, which can be caused by an overcrowded mouth. Our dentists are happy to assist with wisdom tooth management, including extraction.

A. Orthodontics Australia recommends taking your child for their first consultation between the ages of 7 and 10. An orthodontist will be able to recommend when to return or if any treatments may be required.
